WHITE
HOUSE WEDDING
1913
This
is a history lesson about the number 13, the White House weddings,
not
to forget the marriage of President Woodrow Wilson's daughter,
Jessie.
The
number 13, an evil superstition or a good luck omen, it's your
call.
The
number plays a big part in the wedding on November 25th
, the year
1913,
in the White House East Room of Miss Jessie W. Wilson, daughter
of President and Mrs Wilson, who is to marry Frances B.
Sayre.
First
off, Miss Jessie W. Wilson will be the 13th White
House bride.
Next,
there are twelve members in the bridal party so that when they are
at
the
Alter and the Rev. Sylvester Beach steps up to give the ceremony
there
are 13.
Both
the bride and groom's names have thirteen letters as does Woodrow
Wilson,
the brides father.
It
is the year 1913.
