REHOBOTH GETS DRIVE-IN
MOVIE
The first drive-in theater
to serve the Cape Henlopen resort area is a project for the
upcoming summer season.
William Derrickson of
Rehoboth who operates two movies there announced that he
plans to have a 400 car
outdoor theater on Rehoboth Highway near Midway.
Eventually he plans to
erect a shopping center of 18 stores and a restaurant at
the same location and has
purchased 30 acres of land with 1000 foot frontage
on the highway.
