ROLLINS
ACQUIRES MATLACK TRUCKING COMPANY
Tuesday,
December 3, 1968,, Rollins Leasing and Matlack
completed
the acquisition by the approval of the directors of both
companies.
Matlack,
the pipe line on wheels, was founded in 1888 and is the
largest
bulk oil transportation company in the country in terms of the
tonnage
hauled.
Rollins
is a 22 year old concern which went public in June, 1968,
is
in auto leasing, distribution and transfer services and computer
training
and service centers, which began business in Lewes, Delaware
as
a Ford Motors dealership in the late 1940's
Matlack
and Rollins will now be known as International
Bulk
Distribution Corporration.
