BELHAVEN HOTEL
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,

The old Belhaven Hotel
sold at trustee sale for $33,400 to the Philadelphia brothers
Papalone who will
operate the beach front hostelry this summer.
The Belhaven, one of
the two largest hotels in Rehoboth attained great success under
the owership of the
late Mary Barnett whose table was known far and wide for it's
excellence. It recently
was operated by Belhaven Hotel Company under various managers
and had gone into
bankruptcy.
Charles Cullen, bankruptcy
referee , in Georgetown, approved the sale Monday.
The new owners will spend
next week or so making necessary repairs and arrange to open
it for the season by the
end of this month.
