AN OBITUARY OF NOTE
AUGUSTA HELENA TRACY MAULL
6 OCTOBER 1951
A LEWES FAMILY OF NOTE.

Mrs. Bailey Maull, Sr., died Saturday, 6 October 1951, at her Mulberry Street home
in Lewes. She had been ill for a long time.
The Rev Dr. William Leishman pastor of the Lewes Presbyterian Church held her service
in the Melson Funeral Home on Savannah Road, Lewes, and her burial in the Lewes
Presbyterian Church Yard.

Mrs Maull was the daughter of John and Anna Jane Reynolds Tracy, both deceased, born
in Lewes, 20 October 1884. She had five sisters, Ann born 1865 and died a infant, Sarah
born 1867 died 1936, Letta Hester, born 1870, died at age 3., Anna V born 1878 died 1931,
and Mary Revel, born `1886, died 1980. Her brothers, there were three, William, born 1873,
died 1940, Samuel born 1875 died 1942, and John V. born 1878 died 1965.

Augusta Helena Tracy married Bailey West Maull , son of David Marshall Maull, 6 October 1902, at Nassau, and they had eight sons, six lived to adults. There was Victor, born 1902, died an infant, Franklin Virden, born 1904, died 1987, John Tracy, 1906 to `1961, Bailey West, Jr, born 1911,died an infant, Robert Arnell , Sr., 1911 to 1969, David Marshall, 1915 – 2003, Bailey West, 1916 to 1987 and Alton Hill, 1922 to 2012.

Bailey West Maull, Augusta's husband, had a sister , Ella Virden Maull , daughter of
David Marshall Maull, born in Lewes 14 January 1881, and married 29 December 1907,
Captain Rouse Thomas Potter, who was born in Bristol, Rhode Island, 27 November 1863,
died in Lewes 17 August 1918, buried in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, He was a fishing boat captain and they lived in Lewes. . They were the parents of David Anthony Potter, Tony as
we all knew him, born 29 December, 1908, who married Helena Carter in Bel Aire,
Maryland, 11 February 1937, Helena born in Lewes 22 January 1915 the daughter of
Frank Salisbury Carter and Helen Lofland of Lewes. Tony was a Delaware Bay & River pilot.
