Pitch in your two cents once spacewalking astronauts attempt

to fix the Hubble Space Telescope because that is what it cost each

American citizen each week to operate and maintain the billion dollar

observatory with its bad eyesight, bad memory and a bad case of

the jitters.

The space shuttle 'Endeavour', due to blast off at 5 am December 1^st 1993, on a multimillion dollar mission for the biggest repair job in space ever, will take four spacewalkers to install corrective lens, a new

solar camera, more solar panels , new gyroscopes, computer, and more.

There will be at least five spacewalks in the 11 day flight. The tab

is $629 million, $251 million for the parts and $378 million for the

shuttle trip. As of today the telescope has been in orbit 3-1/2 years

with 11 -1/2 years to go. .

Once the vision is restored she can peer back 14 million light years,

instead of the 4 million light years and American will get a bargain

for their two cents invested.

If you drink sodas, that's about a couple of cans a year.
