JIMMY “SANTA CLAUS” MOORE
TRAVELERS RESTAURANT

James G. Moore, known around Christmas as Jimmy “Santa Claus”
Moore at his Rehoboth Avenue Traverlers restaurant by everyone, and
wherever his good humor accompanied him.

The towns little children marveled by rotund form in his red, fur
trimmed suit knew him as Old Kris.
Older folks say he is a good Santa, he talks, walks and acts just like
the real thing. Every year he was with the Rehoboth Kiwanis on their
visit to the Stockley Colony annual Christmas party.

Jimmy was loveable, open, honest and outgoing,

Jimmy Moore died three days before Christmas 1950, while Christmas
shopping for gifts for friends and employees .
